Are you the type of senior who prefers not to make a big fuss over your senior photos? Well, you’re in luck! At Aaron Taylor Photography, your senior photo experience is custom designed to be exactly how you envision it.
Would you believe Makayla, a Westerville North graduate, got these amazing photos from one low-key session? We worked in one location with one outfit. But she walked away with so many amazing photos that she ordered a whole album.
If a quick senior session sounds more like your speed, I’ll explain how we did that for Makayla and how we can do that for you, too.
Commemorating Your Senior Year
Most seniors get photos taken to commemorate their senior year - either by their choice or by a bit of persuasion from their parents. Most schools require one yearbook photo, and it’s nice to have at least one additional photo to send out in graduation announcements. For Makayla, that’s all she really wanted. She just wanted something to commemorate her graduation.
When we planned Makayla's session, she said she wanted something quick and simple. She wanted one outfit, one outdoor location, and didn’t want to make a big fuss about the occasion. No pressure, right? I’m kidding. In fact, I love when a client comes to me with a clear goal--it makes the process streamlined for all of us.
As you can imagine, many of the senior guys I photograph come in with the same set of preconceived ideas. They know they want something simple, they want to look good, and they want the session to be quick. And I’m happy to make that happen if that’s what you want from your senior session.
But just because we work quickly doesn’t mean you’ll feel rushed or end up with boring photos. Not on my watch, anyway.
Regardless of the type of senior session you choose, you’ll still get the same full service I provide every client.
Quick Sessions Don’t Equal Boring Photos
Senior photos with me are entirely customizable. If you want to do studio and outdoors, that’s what we’ll do. If you only want studio shots or only outdoor photos, you’ve got it. Have something completely off the wall in mind? Let’s talk about it because I'm always up for a challenge.
I never force clients to do a certain number of poses, spend a specific amount of time in front of the camera, or limit the locations we visit. I shoot until I know we’ve captured exactly what you’re after.
Senior photos don’t have to be a long, drawn-out affair with multiple locations and outfit changes. But it definitely can be if that’s what you want.
If you’re after something simple, easy, and quick, I can work fast and provide variety in your final photos.
All of Makayla’s photos were taken at Inniswoods Metro Park. I’ve raved about this park plenty of times, and I’m not stopping anytime soon. The park has so much variety in a small space. As you can see from her photos, she had PLENTY of variety and backgrounds to choose from, and the session was quick, just like she wanted.
Need more proof that quick sessions don’t equal boring photos? Check out this senior session that only took about 90 minutes. We shot indoors, outdoors, and had multiple wardrobe changes.
Benefits of a Quick Senior Session
If you’re a senior with a busy work and academic schedule, a quick senior photoshoot is perfect for you. Depending on what you want, you’ll be in and out in about an hour or less on the day of your session.
About 24 hours after your session, you'll receive an online link to view the proofs from your session. Once you make your final selections and place your order, you’ll typically have your final digital photos in a week and albums, canvases, and such shortly thereafter.
So if you’re up against a deadline, then my quick turnarounds are ideal.
Client Love and Testimonials
What started as a last-minute rush to do graduation photos for Makayla became an experience she loved. Graduation photos weren’t her priority at first. Why? She was actually graduating a year early as a junior. She worked so hard to finish a few extra courses, so she didn't really get a traditional senior year. As graduation approached, she and her family at least wanted to have this one tradition. Even though she wanted something quick and simple, she was so excited about how the session went that she wants to book another session! It doesn’t get much better than that.
She reminded me of Murphy, another senior I recently worked with. She was also a little reluctant to be the center of attention for senior photos but ended up having a great time. Her mom, Michelle, left this kind testimonial about the experience of working together.
